Little Kindy Muswellbrook News:
Today our Little Kindy Muswellbrook had the pleasure to welcome Ritchie the Elder from the Bidjara tribe.
Ritchie engaged with the children showing them some of the Aboriginal culture sharing knowledge of bush tucker and the benefits of the nutrition of the land and animals. The children had the opportunity to see and feel the emu caller by making the sound using their hands on the log. Whilst Ritchie played the Didgeridoo and clap sticks the children danced to the different sounds then was able to make their own Sounds using the clap sticks. Thank you Steph for organising Ritchie to come into the centre.
Thank you Ritchie for bringing your knowledge into the centre and showing the children the different Aboriginal culture.
