Little Kindy East Tamworth
Hi! My name is Bec Fernance and I am your Nominated Supervisor for Little Kindy East Tamworth.
I have been working in the Early Childhood industry for 10 years.
I began with Little Kindy East Tamworth in their opening of May 2023 as a room leader in the second nursery and assistant director.
I returned from maternity leave in November 2024 and have taken on the role of Nominated Supervisor.
I like to think of myself as friendly, bubbly, and approachable! In my spare time, I enjoy spending the days with my family of 6 (3 children and one very loved puppy).
I have an interest in neuro-diverse children and aim to grow my educators to be more knowledgeable of how to support neuro-diverse children and provide an inclusive environment for all children.
I believe in providing an open space, to allow parents and caregivers to express feedback and concerns freely. I believe that community and family input is essential in providing quality care.
I look forward to welcoming you into our centre.

Our location
The Tamworth region has a lot more to offer throughout the year and it has made this area well-known for its world-famous country music festival.
Conveniently situated on the corner of Raglan Street and North St, East Tamworth, Little Kindy East Tamworth is currently under construction and expected to open its services in January 2023 (Subject to the Department of Education’ approval).
Our location is easy to access and just close proximity from Tamworth Public School, Calrossy Anglican School, TAFE Tamworth and Oxley High School Tamworth. Little Kindy East Tamworth is operated and managed by the approved provider of Little Kindy Pty Ltd, a private and family owned company.
With the increased demand of childcare and early education services, Little Kindy East Tamworth is proud to be the part of the essential service provider to help our community find more personalised and tailored early education and care services for their children.
Little Kindy East Tamworth has been actively working with parents and local community to provide more variety and better educational programs that can help children in our care thrive.

*Our fees are before the Child Care Subsidy (CCS). Little Kindy East Tamworth is seeking to be registered and eligible for CCS support (Subject to the Department’s approval)

Preschool Project: Discover Garden
Our beautiful preschoolers have been showing great interest in the nature. It all begins with the discovery of grasshopper in our playground one day by one of the preschoolers.
Little Scientist
For these past few weeks, our preschoolers has been exploring the world of science. It was all started when they found a Grasshopper at the playground

Our beautiful preschoolers were having an amazing group time discussion to find a perfect name for our newest family member addition at Little Kindy. A cute travelling teddy!
